I’m a games & digital media producer, project manager, and event organizer, currently based in Seattle, WA.
Hi, hello, I’m Jo Lammert! I recently moved to Seattle, and am currently the Director of Release Management at Private Division. Prior to my move, I was a freelance producer, project manager, and event organizer based in the artistic desert community of Marfa, Texas.
My first foray in the videogame industry was when I co-founded White Whale Games. I produced 2012's critically acclaimed mobile game 'God of Blades', along with the creative card game 'MONSTROCARDS'. I also served as one of the operators of Austin’s indie videogame collective Juegos Rancheros.
My experiences as a producer and games community organizer led to me working as the Animation & Videogame Liaison at the Texas Film Commission, serving as a public resource and steward for the animation, videogame, and visual effects industries in the state of Texas. Prior to game development, I worked in film and television production, and earned my MSIS studying digital collections and digital libraries at the School of Information at the University of Texas.
You'll also find me on Jo Bagel, my bagel baking project. Beyond bagels, I bake cakes, donuts and cookies a lot... I'm also a big fan of reading, karaoke, hiking, camping, and driving across the west Texas desert.
Plenty of other things to ramble about… check out my CV, follow me on Twitter, and if you’re interested in working together (or just learning more about my work!), please reach my way!
